Re: Hanged Girls Thread Continued
and blood at a hanging is common. sometimes the rope cuts the skin sometimes they bleed from the nose or even from the mouth if they bite their toungue. its not an exact every time action. they are all a little different.the only thing almost always commonly found is a v shaped mark on the neck, and they are dead.

Re: Hanged Girls Thread Continued
Yes, I know. And I doubt anyone who would watch that hanging wouldn't say that the Iranian woman died very hard. That was my point. Ixtabcris said that the knot placement in the front causing such trauma was very normal and that it was still a peaceful, painless death. I was contending in my OP that if the knot had slipped forward like that, it very probably prolonged the dying process somewhat. To me, that level of trauma that far forward on the chin meant either that the knot had slipped forward, prolonging the hanging as in the case of the Iranian woman, or that she was scratching at the noose trying to loosen it before dying. Both instances have been seen here before. For whatever reason, Ixtabcris chose to contradict either suspicion by saying that the knot positioning was perfectly normal and that there was no evidence whatsoever that the hanging was prolonged or difficult. And yes, I KNOW that blood at a hanging is common. Christ, I've seen thousands of these. I only commented on it because both the oral cavity and the nares seemed free of blood in the photos. 99 times out of a 100, if there is blood on the floor you will see blood trailing from either the oral cavity or the nostrils. Seriously. I was doing a bit of narration and plausible explanation for things like the fluid puddle and the chin trauma and both of you guys come at me like I've been on the site for two days and have never seen a hanging before. |

Re: Hanged Girls Thread Continued
no problems from me, thats what this forum is for.as for the differences, remember these scenes arent static. the family probably covered the body when first discovered and either the police or a reporter moved itlater. there were pics here people thought were photoshopped because hands were in different positions in different pics. blood settles limbs stiffen and release over time. it just is.

Certainly new here, yes. I tried sourcing it when it was posted over at Goregrish (which is where I assume you snagged it) earlier this week, but couldn't find any info on the image. Looks fairly legit; just wish we could get some data on the location and circumstances.

Re: Hanged Girls Thread Continued
Most common reasons for bleeding are bitten tongues and beaten noses. This usually happens because of convulsive movements of muscles caused by anoxia. Sometimes it is more special, as you can see in in this old b/w pic. The victim has a deep wound at the tip of the chin as a result of a ruptured clothesline. The body collapsed and her chin hit some furnitures causing this wound. She survived and hanged herself again, using a different piece of rope. |
