A newly married girl committed suicide by hanging herself around her neck in Arar village of Sanokhar police station area, while the girl's family members have accused the in-laws of strangling the girl to death who later on confessed the crime. The girl's father told that for the sake of my daughter N. K, her husband Jitendra Yadav, father-in-law Vivekananda Yadav, mother-in-law Punita Devi and sister-in-law Rakhi Devi used to harass her. Stress was being created by this. The girl was harassed and beaten up by her in-laws. The girl's father, expressing his inability to pay the money, tried hard to convince the in-laws, but all proved in vain and the in-laws deliberately and well-planned the murder of N.K. (21 years). I strangled her with a rope. After committing the murder, the in-laws fled, leaving the body of the deceased in the house with the intention of hiding the evidence.  The father of the girl, told that two months ago, his daughter married The Hindu on April 21. According to the custom, it was done with a gift, a capable donation of 2 full gold chains, 4 full gold bangles, 1 full note, fifty paise, earrings 2 full, ring 50 paise, 16 full silver anklets. And by giving a bullet car dowry, she married him. He is an engineer in a private company. After the murder, the in-laws fled leaving the body of the daughter in the house. Along with this, the chain, nose and earring were snatched from the neck of the deceased and kept with them. After the incident on Friday, the villagers of Arar village informed news outlets about the incident by mobile phone. After they reached Arar village they informed Sanokhar police station. As soon as the information about the incident was received, the local police reached the spot and took the dead body in their possession and sent it to Bhagalpur for post-mortem. Police are investigating the incident and conducting intensive raids to arrest the accused involved in the incident. Sanokhar Police Station Officer Manish Kumar said that a case has been registered in this regard. |
