Re: Hanged Girls Thread Continued
Teenager locked her bedroom door, cranked up her music, draped herself in some sort of veil/gown, and hung herself over a bad breakup. Discovered by her parents a few hours later. Looks like she went hard-either the knot slipped around to the front and dug into her chin or she had second thoughts and clawed at her neck trying to get the noose off. I don't see any injuries besides the one on her chin, but there's a puddle next to her body, right beneath where she was hanging. Not sure if she was bleeding from somewhere else or if the puddle is something other than blood.

Re: Hanged Girls Thread Continued
So why cover her up only to allow the reporters to take the veil off and take photographs once she is cut down? Makes no sense to me at all. Further, I only commented about the injury under her chin because it is significantly more pronounced than 90% of the other cases in this thread. You're talking at me like I've never seen a hanging before. This isn't my first rodeo, you know. ;) I started the Hanging thread here years ago and have probably posted close to 30% of the images that it contains. I spend no less than twenty hours per week looking for this stuff. And in my experience, which is borne out by the thousands of photos in this thread and its predecessor, ligature marks (rope burn as it were) are very common in suicidal hangings, but actual deep, bleeding injuries all the way out towards the apex of the chin are not common whatsoever. By all means, if you have substantial evidence to the contrary, please post the photos! Because looking back over the past few years of images in this thread, I see very few instances in suicides where the knot slipped forward and tore the chin up so badly. |

Re: Hanged Girls Thread Continued
the knot moves as the noose tightens.it is a matter of where its placed. there was an Iranian Hanging vid from the city of tabriz where the knot was poorly placed and you watched it move under the womans chin as it tightened.i will see if i can come up with the link
