Several more photos of the girl in the mango tree. She allegedly hung herself because her father took away her smartphone. Was discovered shortly thereafter by her little sister. The article doesn't mention exactly how she hung herself, but she must not have been fully suspended while hanging. The front of her jeans appear clean, but the urine stain in the back goes halfway up her buttocks. I'm assuming it must half been one of those partial-suspension, 'half-sitting' hangings.

33 year old woman hung herself with a sarong yesterday. This was Indonesia, so the details were extensive even if the photos are sparse.

She had tried suicide once before, according to her husband. Further, she would often email him photos of nooses while he was at work, telling him that she would hang herself if she found out he was cheating on her. he claimed he was not, but apparently she had other ideas. Her body was found by her 10 year old daughter, who ran to get her grandmother to try and save her. Obviously, it was too late.

The grandmother initially expressed minor concerns that the husband may have killed her, but changed her mind after the investigation. The forensic analysis of the scene determined that her death was 'purely a suicidal hanging' based on the condition of the body. According to the official record, in this specific instance, that included her tongue being clenched between her teeth (not much protrusion, though, as one cannot see it in the photo), her hands being contracted into fists with the thumbs tucked in, the position of the ligature marks consistent with hanging, and the presence of urine and feces in her pants. Officially ruled as a suicide and case closed, at least by Indonesian standards.
