Re: Death by R/C Helicopter.

getting killed by an RC chopper is never a freak accident. you know it has a very sharp and tough blade, you know its powered with a lot of energy, an you know it could come right at you if youre not careful. getting hit by one is not accident. its carelessness, neglect or just plain loco.

Re: Death by R/C Helicopter.

why would the government let a deadly toy like that on the market? if its not the owner that would get hurt, any miscalculation of the owner could hurt others
Because it's not a toy. That's why.

Re: Death by R/C Helicopter.

crazy shit! I got hit by a trex 250 in the leg and that needed 17 stitches. That was enough damage by RC for me. I have a 600 in an airwolf scale body and a 450 also in an airwolf scale body but I don't do anything but fly them around very gently, no 3D! I spent way too much time building them to slip on the controls while flying upside down. They're just too expensive to crash in a scale body...too expensive to crash period. I have some friends that will make you take cover with their 3D flying of 600's & 700's!

my smallest...the 450

Re: Death by R/C Helicopter.

I remember balsa wood and rubber band airplanes were high tech at one time.

Re: Death by R/C Helicopter.

The teenager was an avid flier of remote control helicopters and was reportedly very good at it::

I Guess not good enough
