Re: Death Pictures From Mount Everest
What can the climbers do? They can't carry a person up and down, or risk certain death themselves. More like where is a rescue crew? Probably too much risk for them as well. I've heard of a video, I am gonna try and find it. I gotta admit that its weird to watch someone leave a person to die. |

Re: Death Pictures From Mount Everest
Pic 2 (double pic) is Tsewang Paljor, the "Green Boots" Gentleman MisterE and CaSe mentioned. Pic 3 is George Mallory. Pic 4 is Marko Lihteneker. Pic 6 is from a Spanish expedition from the 70's or 80's. Not sure of the name. |

Re: Death Pictures From Mount Everest
There's one of a woman too, can't remember her name but the pic isn't anything great anyway. The one sitting up against it's pack, isn't that a woman too? Damn, it was only a week or so ago I was researching this! As for leaving David Sharp to die in Green Boots cave, and leaving other injured parties, going up Everest is survival of the fittest. If you can't do it under your own steam, you can't do it at all and it's unreasonable to expect people to jeopardise their lives for you. |
