Actually... I've seen something like this. A couple of times. My guess is scavengers. Because the legs and arms are still present and fleshy, he/she couldn't have been out for a very long time (i.e. weeks or months), but the torso and skull are stripped. There are still even flesh-toned parts. Depending on where this is, it's actually very possible that this person could have been out for just a week. This could mean that there were wounds in the torso that made it easier for scavengers to get into the body. See the holes in the arms? How the pelvic area is stretched? The limbs still have muscle and the skin hasn't mummified, but the organs are gone. I'd be willing to bet money that it's scavengers. /someone who knows too much about human decomp |
