In high school, I once got directions to a party that I was told was open to 'everyone'.

There were cars parked all over, people on the lawn drinking and carrying on, so I went inside.

I never caused any trouble at all but at one point, the guy that lived at the house told me to leave. (He was not tactful at all.)

Apparently, I was not a member of the 'cool enough' crowd to be allowed to stay.

At least, that was my best guess.

So...I left.
