Police have released video of a man assaulting a bus driver in the hopes someone can identify who he is.

The assault happened on Sept. 14 at 12:30 p.m. as the bus headed east on William Avenue near Isabel Street.

Police say the suspect entered the bus, failed to pay the required fare, then began demanding a transfer from the 50-year-old male driver.

When the driver refused, the video shows the suspect throw a number of punches and kicks in the direction of the driver, who is not seen on camera.

After about 3 minutes of the suspect assaulting the driver, police say two unknown males entered the bus to intervene, at which point one of them was struck by the suspect.

The suspect eventually left the bus, where he was confronted by several unknown males.
