Drunken-driving Suspect Crashes into Barrier and Squad Car During Pursuit

Milwaukee, WI - ‎Police dashcam video shows a high-speed chase involving a drunken-driving suspect including the moment when the suspect hit a barrier, sending his car flying into the deputy's squad car.

The crash occurred at Interstate 94 and Highway 41, injuring 2 deputies and closing part of the interchange for much of that morning.

The chase began when the driver was spotted heading the wrong way on Mayfair Road.

When a deputy tried to pull the driver over, he allegedly took off, hitting speeds approaching 110 mph while exiting and re-entering Interstate 94.

After the crash, the driver was booked at the Milwaukee County jail on possible charges that include operating while intoxicated, third offense, causing great bodily harm, recklessly endangering safety, fleeing from officer and battery to an emergency medical care provider.
