Re: Cops Allow Drunk Deputy to Drive Home Claiming No 'probable Cause'
yeah that shit is fucked. I was arrested and convicted of a DUI 4 years ago for sleeping one off in a bar parking lot, with a blanket over me and the seat laid all the way back, because the keys were in my center console, under the lid, and apparently within my immediate control . And yes i had a good attorney. A nosy bar patron called and said i was passed out, they did a "welfare check" woke me up and did everything possible to arrest and convict me after i pleaded my case for 20 minutes that i was SLEEPING. Its all about "physical control" in my home state and most of the US. I dont usually speak out against the police but this time i feel like i was shortchanged and this officer was treated like he had immunity.

Horse shit. Didn't matter if he was an officer of the law. Fucker should have at least been thrown in the drunk tank. Political or otherwise should suffer the same punishment for stupidity as anyone else. Period. |
