Johannesburg, S.A. Two men have been arrested after they were caught on CCTV assaulting Pick ‘n Pay security guards and firing gunshots outside the grocery store.

According to Police the men were stopped by security when trying to leave the Pick n Pay store just after closing time which then the security guards stepping in dealing with the situation.

One of the men can be seen, after punching one of the security guards to the ground, firing a gunshot into the air before he goes into some sort of a drug fueled ‘rage fit’.

The man is then seen picking up, what can only be assumed to be a bullet casings, from the ground before fleeing the scene.

SAPS said it was only a matter of hours after the incident that the men were arrested.

Guns and various narcotics including dagga were found and seized by the Police Task Team.
