He gave him enough warning. Shooting was justified. Protocol followed. Police officer does not have to wait until some scumbag shoots him. Cannot take the risk.

Its not that hard to put the hands up. Dude that got shot could be a drugged psycho on paroleeeee "never going in again". Police don't take unnecessary risks, and I wouldn't either.  |
