Convienient Store Robbery Caught On CCTV

Three men charged into the Express Mart on North 3rd Street in Terre Haute about 2 a.m. Tuesday, beating the clerks with baseball bats. "Pretty violent take over," Terre Haute Police Detective Jeff Trotter said. "We don't normally get these kind of crimes that occur here. "Police said the men should be considered dangerous. "It was well thought out and well planned," Trotter said. "If you watch the video a little bit closer you see each one of them has a specific role they're doing in this robbery." The men grabbed items off of the counter and cash and ran away. The suspects are three white men, two of them are about 5' 9" & the other is about 5' 6" with long dark hair. The store clerks were not seriously hurt in the robbery but the store was closed for part of the day Tuesday. Meanwhile, police continue to search for the men who plotted and carried out the brutal robbery.
