Ava Bacchione Arrest and Court Case Update for Simple Assault
Ava Bacchione, daughter of Berkeley Township, New Jersey mayor John Bacchione, was arrested and charged with simple assault under statute 2C:12-1A(1) in 2024, and video of the arrest circulated online. Court records indicate her case was transferred to another municipal court, possibly to avoid a conflict of interest in Berkeley Township Municipal Court, and it remained pending as of August 2024. She was charged with Simple Assault under 2C:12-1A(1) and released pending her future court date. Court records indicate that Ava’s case has been transferred to another Municipal court, possibly to avoid a conflict of interest in the Berkeley Township Municipal Court, and her court case is still pending as of August 4, 2024. |
