Heh... when a suckling calf isn't getting milk from the teat it's on, it can start to chew some in order to get it flowing. The chewing can become more insistent, if milk is still not delivered. Calves kind of automatically switch to a different teat if there's an issue, but in this case there'd be only one. :)
