Re: Heavy Truck Vs Wooden Bridge

I don't know who's a bigger idiot. The trucker who bought his CDL and should know better for driving on a bridge that can't support its weight, or me for thinking that the truck would climb back on the bridge as its falling.. lol. Looked like one of those cats that make a big jump and struggle to climb up. Trucks are not cats, is the moral of the story.
Judging from the scenery, I highly doubt they have anything even close to resembling a CDL. Of course, if you look at the idiots they issue CDLs to, here in the US, I guess anything is possible. Especially when you consider the idiot not that long ago that tried to take a truck over a covered bridge.

Still, in what universe would that ever be considered a good idea.

Re: Heavy Truck Vs Wooden Bridge

Seeing how that bridge passed some obviously strict government approval, I don't think he'll have to worry about their EPA getting on his ass
Your assuming government standards are better? We'll your right they are fucked.
For the taxes I pay our roads are a scheme to up employment figures thus votes not safety...
