You don't get what I'm saying do you, instead of flying off the handle and calling me names like a child maybe you should read my post better. We live in America, I live in California thank you, and in America it is known to be an English spoken country. When I go to a store I shouldn't see other languages on a sign, or when I call a service I shouldn't hear press 1 for English or 2 for Spanish. Our country has so many illegal aliens in it that our country is giving into these people who shouldn't be here anyway.

So next time you think it's wrong for me to have an opinion that you clearly don't like, maybe you should take my opinion into consideration and understand what I am saying. so your saying that if america went to a new language that you didn't know it wouldn't bother you? if you and your family had to learn to read and write in a new language before you could get a job/drivers licence/government help/call 911 you would be ok with it? if you go to a different country learn its language,the country shouldn't have to learn yours.

Well said. I missed this post when I replied to Slanger. I shouldn't have cursed, you're right. I just think it's silly that any governor at all would open up with this kind of angle in his campaign. And him being from Alabama is just ironic. I respect you all that much more for coming at me in a civil manner. Perhaps I was out of bounds with some of the stuff I said. I take it back. But you have your opinion, I have mine. Agree to disagree. But Slanger can still kiss my ass.

Just don't assume because I thought this was racist that my first language wasn't English. I even graduated with an English degree from A&M.
