I think she was cavity embalmed, which probably kept things from being even worse. I'm wondering how long she had to be dead to decompose that much in the first place though.

Apparently, based on comments, she was said to have taken a bath after virtually not sleeping for some days, while on period. Maybe superstitions gone real? |

That is the colour I remember my nan being when I went to see her in the Chapel of Rest as a child. I still remember the smell. Poor child, she was only young. To be fair though, even though she is a shade of green, she looks better than those who are embalmed and caked with make up. |

but it is freakin fun to drive over there - especially driving a lhd for the first time :) they are crazy, but to me, it is like organised chaos. 3 lanes and 4 lines of traffic (at least 4  ). traffic has a knack of flowing (in relative terms, of course) and they seem much more willing to help others with lane changing etc. than here in australiaplus you see jeepneys on a daily basis  |
