in India they would just burn her body and throw her into the water. here in the picture you see western type casket and also looks like her family came to America and converted to Christianity. I see a cross in the pic. Most Indians are Hindu, Buddhist or Muslim. But mostly Hindu I think  |

This seems like a very strange question to me. I don't know anyone who hasn't been to an open casket funeral. Is that only a U.S. thing or something? I believe that our modern society is becoming too isolated from death. Experience yields inurement and acceptance; isolation yields curiosity and fear. |
