I have been to several. The person always looks dead not sleeping at least at the ones I have gone to. Some people come up and hold their hand, some people kiss them.

My husband's cousin was decapitated in a car wreck and they had an open casket funeral. They said he did not look the same because of all the make-up and whatnot. It was before I met him so I did not go myself. (I would have liked to have seen it though).

No one really looks the same. Their skin looks waxy. The more messed up they are and the more makeup and other stuff they have to apply the less it looks like the person. So if you were shot in the head they stuff it with wax and also remake noses, cheekbones, etc with wax which can change their looks too.

I did see this boy in the boys in caskets thread that looks exactly like my son. It was pretty fucking freaky for me.

It was different. Not soft, warm, and wet like usual. Sort of hard but still slightly pliable, like clay. Also, cold and noticeably lacking in moisture.

The possibility of being caught made it quite exciting. I just wish she was sexier. That would have helped me finish faster, but maybe the risk factor would have diminished, so I guess it was a trade-off of sorts.
