Re: Whiskey's Briefing Room IV
Putin signs off on new nuclear doctrine after US missile move Vladimir Putin has approved an updated nuclear doctrine, saying that Russia could consider using nuclear weapons if it is subject to a conventional missile assault on it supported by a nuclear power. The decision to change Russia's official nuclear doctrine has been in process for months - but Putin signing it this week appears to be a response to the Biden administration allowing Ukraine to fire American long-range missiles deep into Russia. The updated doctrine, which outlines the threats which would make Russia's leadership consider a nuclear strike, said an attack with conventional missiles, drones or other aircraft could be considered to meet these criteria. It also said any aggression against Russia by a state which was a member of a coalition would be considered by Moscow to be aggression against it by the whole coalition. Just weeks before the November US presidential elections, Putin ordered changes to the nuclear doctrine to say that any conventional attack on Russia aided by a nuclear power could be considered to be a joint attack on Russia. The 1,000-day-old Ukraine war has triggered the gravest confrontation between Russia and the West since the 1962 Cuban Missile Crisis - considered to be the closest the two Cold War superpowers came to intentional nuclear war. Doesn’t seem to matter. According to what he’s just signed of in he could launch them now seeing as the missiles have now been used. I’m truly surprised that people seem to think he won’t do it. It’s just that complacency that’s gonna get us fucked over |

Re: Whiskey's Briefing Room IV
Well, you are in for some bad news then. Trump isn't gonna "negotiate" anything. He has no leverage over Putin....its the other way around. Putin has all the leverage over Trump. There is a reason why Putin put him in office. Trump's peace plan is to give Putin everything he demands and hope that Ukraine will capitulate without western support. I guess if US opts out from fighting against dictators then EU must double its effort and invest in its own defense industry. Its possible that EU and Ukraine can stand against Russian orcs alone. |

Re: Whiskey's Briefing Room IV
Americans themselves proved that Putin spent millions on Trump and organized god knows how many covert influence campaigns on social networks. They paid influencers to lie for Trump, created who knows how many millions of bot accounts, fake comments etc, promoting trump and lying about his opponents. I recognized lots of these fake bot accounts on social media networks, all parroting the same script. The first time Trump got into office, he actually lost the popular vote. Had he not had Putin's support, he would have lost for sure.

Re: Whiskey's Briefing Room IV
Looking at some of their other claims: - Russia wants to take over all over Europe - Russia wants to annex all of Ukraine - Russia believed a Russian 100.000 man army could defeat a 44.000.000 population 600.000 square KM country in three days By such logic, Putin installing a US president is not that far-fetched; Once you establish ‘truth’ without any need for for sources, then you can claim everything. So while I am not saying that Putin didn’t install Trump, it is illogical and no proof has been presented. But the same goes for most other facts thrown around, so why would Putin installing a US president need any source? Once you believe in the narrative then everything is possible IMO |
