Re: Whiskey's Briefing Room II
When I saw this I couldn't stop laughing. Prigozhin and Russian MoD are like an early 90's soap opera my mom would watch when I was at school |

"The Armed Forces took part of an important n.p. Berkhivka north of Bakhmut, the Russian army fled." "A railway train with GTK "Boxer" armored personnel carriers and "Bandvagn 206" tracked all-terrain vehicles was spotted in Germany, some of this equipment was in the new aid package that was promised to Ukraine."

"Sky News has gained access (https://news.sky.com/story/arms-cont...ource-12896127) to an alleged arms contract that could be the first hard evidence that Iran has sold munitions to Russia for its war in Ukraine. The document, dated September 14, 2022, refers to artillery and tank shells and missiles totaling just over $1 million. Sky News' source in the British security services claims that the contract is "100% authentic"."

"Ukraine has gone on the offensive in some directions, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine says, but they do not announce a large-scale counteroffensive. In the direction of Bakhmut, the Ukrainian army is moving with a wide front and is succeeding, Deputy Minister of Defense Hanna Malyar said. According to her, it is precisely because of the defeat at Bakhmut that the Russians are spreading information about the start of Ukraine's counteroffensive. Local fighting continues in the south."

Re: Whiskey's Briefing Room II
"A Russian media claims: "Putin stopped receiving bad news reports, especially about the war, because of his "extremely irritated" reaction to those reports. According to an insider familiar with the situation, Putin reacted to reports containing the actual situation in the following manner: he irritatedly told the reporter that he [reporter] was currently under the influence of "Western propaganda" and was "thickening the clouds" in its wake, while Putin himself had more reliable information from other sources which did not coincide with the information provided by the rapporteurs. The journalist then would be dropped out of the list of people who have access to the Russian president for a long time. But those who reported only successes had permanent access, and defeats and failures were reduced to petty nuisances of no significance. The source says that at this point Putin simply stopped receiving "bad news" because the president does not want to hear it."" Video: ""Troops are withdrawing slowly, it's a shame! Shoigu, Gerasimov, I urge you, come to the front, raise the army with pistols, so that they can march forward. Come on, you can do it! And if you can't, you'll die as heroes!" - terrorist Prigozhin blames Russian military leadership for new defeats near Bakhmut."

Re: Whiskey's Briefing Room II
The story of Hitler all over again. He too refused to listen to the bad news and kept moving his imagniary armies til the end. Lets hope Putin continues to ignore reality and believes that everything is perfect. Not acknowledging bad news prevents you from adapting to them, and that works well for Ukraine. |
