Re: Whiskey's Briefing Room II
Here some Russians are training with live ammunition, the training does not appear to be very elite and the music could be from an early 90s DOS military game but they tried to make it look cool anyway:

Re: Whiskey's Briefing Room II
AN/TWQ-1 Avenger in Ukrainian service. From Wikipedia: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AN/TWQ-1_Avenger The Avenger Air Defense System, designated AN/TWQ-1 under the Joint Electronics Type Designation System, is an American self-propelled surface-to-air missile system which provides mobile, short-range air defense protection for ground units against cruise missiles, unmanned aerial vehicles, low-flying fixed-wing aircraft, and helicopters. The Avenger was originally developed for the United States Armed Forces and is currently used by the U.S. Army. The Avenger system was also used by the U.S. Marine Corps. In November 2022, four Avenger air defense systems were included as part of a $400 million military aid package supporting Ukraine during the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine to defend critical civilian infrastructure against cruise missile and Iranian-made Shahed-136 lethal drone attacks. Another eight were included in a package in January 2023. The first arrived in Europe in early February and were seen in service by late March.

Re: Whiskey's Briefing Room II
1. "In Russian Arkhangelsk, during fireworks on May 9, part of the salute hit the crowd." Victory Day. Sorry wasn't sure where to put this. 2. Updated map of Bakhmut released today by Deep State. A source says "Officially: During three days of counteroffensive actions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Bakhmut direction, 17.3 km² were liberated, — the speaker of the Eastern Group of Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Cherevaty." EDIT adding info: NO MEDIA ""Over three days of counteroffensives, the Ukrainian Armed Forces liberated 17.3 km² in the Bakhmut sector," said Cherevaty, spokesman for the Eastern Military Group."

Re: Whiskey's Briefing Room II
This injured soldier might be the same guy from the above video. Not sure. I'm going to be researching this a bit more and will update the post with anything I find. "And this is the price of our peace at home. The words of the seriously wounded brother of the fallen Hero "Frost""

Re: Whiskey's Briefing Room II
"Russian defense in Bakhmut and around the city continues to crumble - Prigozhin's fits speak for that. Prigozhin published a letter to Shoigu, calling Shoigu to visit Bakhmut. The letter says that on the flanks that were defended by the Russian army, Ukrainian Armed Forces have made a number of successful counterattacks." VIDEOS 1. ""Capturing Bakhmut means nothing because flanks are crumbling, the front is failing...it will lead to global tragedy for Russia" - Prigozhin continues blaming the Russian army for fleeing and leaving 5 km near Bakhmut." 2. "Prigozhin invited the leaders of Russian defense ministry to Bakhmut to stop their fleeing troops. He also said that Wagner PMC was "using their ammunition to stop the fleeing servicemen of the Russian army". (From Prigozhin's response to Viktor Sobolev, member of defense committee of the Russian parliament. Published on Prigozhin's press-service Telegram)"

Re: Whiskey's Briefing Room II
""Russia's ambitions are not limited to Ukraine, but go much further," - Chairman of the NATO Military Committee Rob Bauer "Russia's war against Ukraine is the greatest threat to Euro-Atlantic security in decades. Moscow hoped that it would be a three-day war, but it has been going on for 15 months. <...> The strength and determination of the Ukrainian people and military do not leave us indifferent. NATO military commanders have assured us of their unwavering support. There is no doubt that NATO will support Ukraine for as long as it takes," Bauer said during his speech at the press conference.

Re: Whiskey's Briefing Room II
I have no way of confirming this or not, but either way "A Ukrainian fighter from the 3rd Brigade, the commander of the 1st Assault Battalion, said that during the successful operation in Bakhmut, Russian mercenaries from the Wagner PMC were the first to flee, while the regular Russian army tried to fight back. Thus, the defenders refute the statements of Prigozhin, who accused the Russian Defense Ministry and the General Staff of fleeing" "Major traffic jams this afternoon on road leading from Mariupol to Novoazovsk. The Russians who have been resettled in Mariupol are afraid of a Ukrainian counteroffensive and are fleeing back to Russia."
