Re: Whiskey's Briefing Room II
Found a video of Wagner soldiers discussing the situation of "treason" by the higher ups. Very rough translation added to the video (thanks Whiskey!). Source quote: "Prigozhin turned to Wagner: " Our main enemy is not the Armed Forces of Ukraine, but military bureaucrats." A new PR story from Prigozhin - walks around Wagner's positions in Bakhmut at night and in every possible way discredits the leadership of the RF Ministry of Defense, demanding an increase in the rate of issuance of shells for Wagner. Which already receives shells an order of magnitude more than any brigade of the regular Russian army."

Re: Whiskey's Briefing Room II
Posted 27 April "Wreckage of an unidentified military object was found in northern Poland. According to Polish media, the object is an air-to-ground missile with inscriptions in Russian. The prosecutor's office has launched an investigation into the remains, but no official information about their origin has been released." UPDATE 10 May: EDIT w/another photo and better info: "It was a Russian X-55 missile that fell in Poland at the end of April - Polish Technical Institute of the Air Force On April 27, the Ministry of National Defense announced on social media that "the remains of an unidentified military facility" were found near the town of Zamość, about 15 kilometers from Bydgoszcz. On the same day, Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki admitted that this object could be a Russian missile launched during a massive missile attack on Ukraine in December 2022. During the attack, the Russians allegedly lost control of one of the missiles, without a warhead (the reason for launching such a missile was the involvement of the Ukrainian anti-aircraft defense in destroying apparent targets), which was then monitored in Polish airspace. Now this version seems to be confirmed by the expertise of the Air Force Institute of Technology, which RMF FM writes about. It shows that the missile found is a Ch-55 rocket, probably Russian, because neither the Polish nor the Ukrainian army does not have missiles of this type. It means that it is most likely a missile fired by a Russian military plane during one of the attacks on Ukraine, which flew to Poland from across the eastern border and flew over Poland for several hundred kilometers." Previous info: "The Polish Air Force Technical Institute has preliminarily determined that the wreckage of a missile found near the city of Bydgoszcz in late April is from a Russian X-55 cruise missile that can carry a nuclear charge. Russians are actively using these missiles to strike Ukraine. Typically, the Kh-55 is launched with a simulated nuclear warhead."

Re: Whiskey's Briefing Room II
"Deputy Defense Minister Hanna Malyar said that the enemy is spreading disinformation about the liquidation of the Ukrainian Armed Forces commanders: "Three reports within a week. All are alive". She added that such messages are usually intended to psychologically influence the person, demoralize the Ukrainian military and create a "short-term hype on the topic to raise the spirit of their own troops."" "The Czech Republic is ready to provide Ukraine with two Kub anti-aircraft missile systems and ammunition. These air defense systems are designed to destroy aircraft and missiles at low altitudes. Czech President Petr Pavel has also promised to consider the possibility of transferring L-159 light attack aircraft to Ukraine. The Czech Republic recently completed the modernization of all 16 of these aircraft."

"The owner of the Wagner PMC, Yevheniy Prigozhin, said that there is a high risk of his mercenaries being surrounded in Bakhmut, as the flanks held by the Russian military are cracking" "The poster hanging on the wall of the Narva fortress calling Putin a war criminal drew the attention of its eastern neighbors today: the Russian border guard demanded its removal in the middle of the morning. "Estonian officials said that such a poster is not prohibited in our country, we base our work on Estonian laws, and Russian officials have no reason to demand the removal of the poster," concluded Püvi."

Re: Whiskey's Briefing Room II
"All against all...complete disunity of the front" - Russian volunteer Anastasiya Kashevarova explains what happened between Wagner and the 72nd Brigade in Bakhmut in a long Telegram post. She says Russian Forces are not allowed to communicate with Wagner. Wagner was forced to retreat in one area as Ukrainians exploited weakness and broke through. She says the 72nd had no idea and no troops in the area to cover. She also says Russian sides all hate each other, making fun of each other. She calls for unity or the war will not be won. |
