Re: Whiskey's Briefing Room II
"The new Ukrainian maritime drone MAGURA V5 was presented at the International Defense Industry Fair It can perform various tasks — surveillance, reconnaissance, patrolling, search and rescue, mine countermeasures, fleet protection, and combat missions. The design of the case will increase its maneuverability and stealth. Its height above the waterline should be only 50 centimeters, it will be able to develop up to 42 knots, have a sailing range of up to 450 nautical miles, and a payload of up to 320 kilograms." Re: Whiskey's Briefing Room II
EDIT: audio issues fixed Busy day for President Zelenskyy yesterday. ◉"The morning started with work in the Dnipro region. I held an offsite meeting. The situation at the front, the course of our offensive and defensive actions, intelligence data. As always, we pay close attention to the supply of ammunition to our troops. The efficiency of using the existing air defense systems and reinforcing the sky shield, taking into account supplies from partners. A comprehensive inspection of the military enlistment offices is being finalized, with 11 regions under special control. Also today, I had the opportunity to congratulate Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valerii Zaluzhny, who was born on July 8, and Commander of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrsky, who was born on July 26. I awarded General Zaluzhny with a personalized firearm. I also presented Colonel General Syrsky with a painting that depicts the heroism of Ukrainian warriors and respect for them." ◉"In the Dnipropetrovsk region, I met with those who save the lives of Ukrainian defenders - our medics. On your frontline you are the same heroes as the military. Thank you for saving our boys and girls. Thank you for giving all your time and energy to restore the health of our warriors. We highly respect you and are proud that we have such doctors. I wish you and all Ukrainians victory, good health to you and your families. Happy Medical Workers' Day!" ◉"Mykolaiv.* In the surgical department of the hospital, I talked to children who are undergoing treatment after mine-blast injuries sustained during shelling of the region.* I thank our medics for their great work. For bringing back to life children, who are our future, including those from other regions. We should appreciate medical workers even more and improve the conditions of their very important work." ◉"A stabilization medical unit in Ochakiv. Here, Ukrainian defenders wounded on the frontline undergo medical treatment. I had the honor to personally present state awards to military medics. I am proud of everyone who defends the state! I am grateful to everyone who saves people!" ◉"Now it's Odesa region. Rehabilitation departments in medical institutions. Our guys undergoing physical rehabilitation and recovery programs. I wish you health and a speedy recovery! Our medics from different parts of the country. Congratulations on your professional holiday! Thank you for helping our military and civilians, for your selfless work, experience and professionalism." ◉"The consequences of Russian terror against Odesa. Destruction of Spaso-Preobrazhensky Cathedral, the largest Orthodox church in Odesa and one of the most valuable churches in Ukraine. A Russian missile hit the altar – it was completely destroyed and the entire structure of the building was damaged. Architecture experts are currently working to assess the possibility of restoring the church. I am grateful to our partners in Europe for their willingness to join the reconstruction. Most importantly, the Kasperov Icon of the Mother of God has been saved, and the heart of the church is alive." ◉"Dnipro region, Mykolaiv and Ochakiv... Now it's our Odesa region. I had the honor to congratulate Ukrainian doctors and nurses, frontline medics on their professional holiday. I awarded the best ones. But I am grateful to everyone who stays in our cities and villages, in the frontline areas, who work on the frontline, on whom the life of Ukraine really depends. In the morning, I held a meeting of the Staff. As always, we discussed key issues of our defense, protection of our skies and our cities. Mykolaiv has a lot of issues that need to be resolved for people, including in the regional hospital. Ochakiv – I thank our doctors working there. They are real heroes! Odesa – an important conversation took place in the presence of the Minister of Health with Commander of the Medical Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Tetiana Ostashchenko. We talked about issues that are of great concern to our combat medics, our warriors. We are looking for air defense systems to protect Odesa and our entire south. And I am grateful to everyone in the world who has already joined us in this endeavor! I thank everyone who is fighting for Ukraine! " #zelenskyy

Re: Whiskey's Briefing Room II
26 July "NATO will increase intelligence in the Black Sea with maritime patrol aircraft and drones, - results of the NATO-Ukraine Council. Zelensky called the meeting of the NATO-Ukraine Council a powerful one. He thanked Secretary General Stoltenberg and his deputy. "We welcome the Alliance's clear and unequivocal condemnation of Russia's withdrawal from the grain deal. Established just two weeks ago in Vilnius, the Council has already proven to be an effective mechanism for crisis consultations. Ukraine will continue to fulfill its obligations to ensure global food security," Zelensky wrote on Twitter."

Re: Whiskey's Briefing Room II
BFF "In Pyongyang, Kim Jong-un showed Russian Defense Minister Shoigu ballistic missiles, drones similar to the US RQ-4 Global Hawk and MQ-9 Reaper, and other modern DPRK weapons banned by a UN resolution. During his speech at the reception, Shoigu called the North Korean army "the strongest in the world." Yesterday, after years of isolation due to the pandemic, the DPRK received Russian and Chinese delegations. Reuters, citing analysts, writes that Kim Jong-un's openness indicates a significant rapprochement with these countries, especially Russia. The latter once supported a UN resolution, and the fact that the dictator showed Shoigu missiles may indicate that Russia agrees with Pyongyang's nuclear program."
