Re: Whiskey's Briefing Room
Great post. Thats the beauty of it - don't give the enemy problems, give them dilemmas. Those are far worse. Zaluzhny and his staff are outstanding at creating nightmares for their uninvited guests. |

Re: Whiskey's Briefing Room
I posted a "mopping up" video just now in the media thread, and I noticed this Ukrainian at the very end of the vid walked away with two RPG-30's. Very interesting weapons that entered Russian service like a decade ago. The small tube is a "decoy" rocket that fires right before the main rocket. The decoy activates the defense systems on modern tanks so that the follow up "real" rocket + warhead can concentrate on defeating the tank's armor. Unlike almost everything else Russian in this war, it's a man-portable system specifically designed to destroy modern main battle tanks with active/passive protection systems. The main rocket has a tandem warhead, which is designed to defeat ERA panels, and then the armor. Very dangerous weapon. |

Re: Whiskey's Briefing Room
It's not one of mine... although it looks like one I could have done. Editing in my videos is mainly done to match the music in all of them.

Re: Whiskey's Briefing Room
Kelly, one important point you forgot to mention is that it weighs a lot, and therefore is a good candidate to throw out the truck window when you are running away from Ukrainians. But tanks are much heavier, so they leave more of them. You have to calculate the total weight per mile of retreat. For Russians that is an important factor! |

Fairy-dust good wishes from the Russian General Staff, maybe? |
