Re: Whiskey's Briefing Room
Yellow = Main roads crucial to rapid advance Pink = Crucial Russian supply line Since the fall of Lyman/Drobysheve/Yampil, Ukrainian units have pushed further after the remaining Russians who escaped to the east. It would be predicted that the next target may be Kremmina which serves as a supply hub for Lysychansk/Severodonyetsk. Next post will address the importance of Svatove and the soon to expand offensive from Kupyansk. |

Re: Whiskey's Briefing Room
Pink = Crucial Russian supply line for large areas of Luhansk oblast. The importance of this highway (pink) is obvious. If Ukraine is able to take Svatove, this will destroy Russian ability to hold key areas within a very wide area, denying them supplies and avenues for reinforcement. This highway leads directly to key areas that Ukraine does not yet control. It would be prudent for Ukraine to further attack Svatove heavily with precision strikes to weaken their fortifications around the town, prepping for a ground assault. How this will play out is the question. |

Re: Whiskey's Briefing Room
"The Russians were decisively defeated at Lyman. They'll attempt to stabilize on the Kreminna-Svatove line but won't hold out there for long. The Russians made a fatal mistake trying to hold Lyman at all costs and deploying most of their operational reserves to that doomed effort."

Re: Whiskey's Briefing Room
No clue. First photo is a hermetic case kind of like "Pelican" cases here in the US which military use. But it also seems to have a battery in it that can serve as a charging station for other stuff. The laptop thing - it's a qwerty keyboard so obviously not Russian. It has some design similarities with the fire control unit of a Stugna-P ATGM but not green and different design. Interesting.
