USA/Taliban's treaty with Trump basically was voided when Biden became president. Biden didn't work alongside with the Taliban to make sure they fulfilled their end of the deal but STILL pulled out of Afghanistan knowing that they just bombed Taliban territory.
Do the math, kiddo. Trump's treaty was based on Taliban working alongside the Afghani government and for the Taliban to cease operations with terrorist groups such as al-Qaeda or ISIS. Once that treaty was broken by both sides, it's on Biden to propose a better solution. He decided to continue bombing the Taliban while the Taliban seized more territory and then still ordering American military to leave within a month after just bombing them, WTF did Biden expect would happen? He was warned that the Taliban were seizing more territory and were planning on taking control of Kabul way before he ordered the remaining troops to be pulled out. What Trump agreed to with the Taliban wasn't what happened and that's not on Trump but Biden. He's the one who could have proposed for the Afghani government and the Talibans to work together and stick troops there for longer once it became known that the area was poised to be seized and invaded if troops left.

Back in December trump was pushing for the withdrawal of our troops from Afghanistan and Germany, military only no civilians American or Afghani. That's two major troop withdrawals that he wanted put into action before he left office. If that had started it would've been an even bigger shitshow than this.

Only difference is trump didn't get to see his troop withdrawals put into action. All Biden did was ditch the Germany part of trumps plan and added civilians and contractors to the list in his Afghani withdrawal...albeit days later which seemed to be more of a P.R. stunt than actually part of the initial plan.

I don't care if Jesus or Allah was in charge because it would've been fucked no matter who was overseeing this mass evacuation.

All this Trump / Biden argument is in my opinion is kind of useless. If you should blame anybody for the mess, I think George W. Bush takes most of the blame, for turning the entire operation into a nation building exercise and crating a un-winnable conflict with no realistic goals. It's no surprise to me that this would devolve into chaos, and perhaps having a weak president with clear mental decline (Biden) is causing the inevitable chaos to happen earlier.
