Re: Welcome to The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan
You are right! President Trump, who announced the total withdrawal just before the election, WAS the worst president ever!

Re: Welcome to The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan
Boondoggle William May. >Let me break it down to you like I would explain it to a child. >Trump and the USA want to get out of Afghanistan. Taliban was willing to negotiate. Trump left open the possibility of a renewed war effort if the Taliban were to violate the terms of the agreement, promising that, if terms were broken, "we'll go back with a force like no-one's ever seen." Trump and the Taliban agreed that USA forces and other international forces will leave Afghanistan if America releases Taliban prisoners. In correspondence to the treaty, Taliban will not attack the Afghanistan government nor engage in affairs that would damage America such as by allowing al-Qaeda or ISIS to operate in areas under Taliban control and they will begin talks with the Afghan government. The agreement was to withdraw within 14 months. Biden didn't withdraw the troops by May which was what was initially agreed on. Furthermore, there were attacks by Taliban seizing territory in the early 2021's... Joe Biden decided to continue launching air strikes toward the Taliban just last month. USA/Taliban's treaty with Trump basically was voided when Biden became president. Biden didn't work alongside with the Taliban to make sure they fulfilled their end of the deal but STILL pulled out of Afghanistan knowing that they just bombed Taliban territory. Do the math, kiddo. Trump's treaty was based on Taliban working alongside the Afghani government and for the Taliban to cease operations with terrorist groups such as al-Qaeda or ISIS. Once that treaty was broken by both sides, it's on Biden to propose a better solution. He decided to continue bombing the Taliban while the Taliban seized more territory and then still ordering American military to leave within a month after just bombing them, WTF did Biden expect would happen? He was warned that the Taliban were seizing more territory and were planning on taking control of Kabul way before he ordered the remaining troops to be pulled out. What Trump agreed to with the Taliban wasn't what happened and that's not on Trump but Biden. He's the one who could have proposed for the Afghani government and the Talibans to work together and stick troops there for longer once it became known that the area was poised to be seized and invaded if troops left. >Again, Biden's own words were that the Afghani military were better prepared and could prevent the Talibans from attacking. That's HIS words. And yet, that's not what happened. So your default tactic is to blame Trump for Biden's poor foreign affair strategy? - from a guy who can explain things much better than I can |
