Sorry, but I have to agree. I'm not taking their side by any means, but they are only using the terrain to their advantage, and an ambush is a solid tactic. By belittling their enemies you are in a sense insulting our troops. The Afghani fighters are no joke, they are well trained, and they've been fighting since...forever. Our boys are up against veterans of multiple conflicts, hardened, resourceful, experienced fighters. Besides, no coward would willingly assault Marines or Rangers. A coward would run away pissing himself. Trust me, a lot of my good friends are Marines, they've done tours, and they are the toughest, most hardcore badasses I know, but they have a certain respect for these men you call 'pussies'. |
