Re: US Vehicles Ambushed by Cowards
the only reason them camel jockeys could finally hit them was cuz they stopped. why they stopped i dont know cuz before they stoppped they didnt get hit but still with them stopped they were missing. we need to just nuke the fucking place and turn it into a parking lot for the United Nation and Nato troops. Just level the fucking place already. |

Re: US Vehicles Ambushed by Cowards
imhere05 : That last vehicle received an indirect hit under its front end and a direct hit right behind the cab , more than 200 feet before it stopped. Most of those guys were dead, dieing or seriously shell-shocked before stopping. It was unarmored too, not that it would matter anyhow. ************************************** RPGs slice right through any type MATV without Slat or Tarian and some of the surface area of different MRAPs can't take a direct hit. Their roofs are vulnerable to any RPG hit. The ragheads know to aim for the turrets too. ************************************** I wonder what happened to the others in that patrol? There was a lot of rocket fire not seen by the camera. Those other vehicles had to slow down for that sharp turn off to the left of the camera view. |

Re: US Vehicles Ambushed by Cowards
Mraps are designed to save the crew it will still look a mess after an IED. A larger IED can destoy it. Never much armor on the top of any vehicle. Best place to ambush is from above with rock cover. These insurgents/ taliban had it well set up. I would'nt call it a cowards way of attack as the alternative is standing in the road making it easy for the enemy to kill them. I hate what they fight for though.

Re: US Vehicles Ambushed by Cowards
Like the Humvees, Bradleys and Strykers before them, the MATVs and MRAPs have proved to be more bark than bite. Look at the pictures on this article. http://www.stripes.com/news/dod-iden...stan-1.152181# |
