This man put his life on the line for his buddy! Regardless if the man was injured, or dead, he was not going to leave him behind! Why is it that if that same man, doing that same heroic act, had an American/Western uniform on everyone would be calling him a hero and showering medals, and if not, showing such contempt and ridicule?! Have some respect!!!  |

I knew plenty of SDM (squad designated marksman) who went to sniper school but were in an infantry platoon acting as SDM. It's more so about the weapon system your using typically a semi automatic rifle like a m14 and the mission at hand but snipers aren't necessarily on the outskirts either. A SDM doesnt typically work with a spotter either and effective range no more than 800M usually. Every platoon will have at least 1 SDM when they're actually down range. Another term you'll hear people say is "I use a ___ as my DMR" (designated marksman rifle) I have a m1a scout squad as my DMR but my philosophy of us is effective out to 500-600 M anything further I'd prefer a bolt gun. nowadays a good AR 10 will be just as accurate or more accurate for less $$$ as a DMR They were definitely leading the moving target a lil too much and jerking the trigger at times. probably not holding the trigger down and slowly resetting the trigger for a softer pull for the follow up shot |

I assume you mean me, I think I'm about the only one who was doing any ridiculing here. I have an intense need to be laughing at absolutely all times. I even laugh when I stub my toe, or when ladies back their SUVs into me and knock me into the ocean off the back of a ferry. That said, I love this guy in the video a lot. He is a hero, and I've never seen anything like this video. I sent the actual Snipocalypse Now video and Houthis Kiss to the only english speaking Yemeni journalist I know of, Hussain Al Bukhaiti, after I heard that someone forwarded this video to him, and that he liked it. He doesn't know if either of these two are alive anymore, and due to it's moderate to high usage of dildo imagery, he wasn't to fond of Houthis Kiss. He also informed me that the grenade footage I used in it is actually Saudi mercenaries killing several Yemenis, not the other way around. Anyhow, if I didn't like these guys, I wouldn't have spent weeks and weeks making these videos dedicated to them. I only tease them as I do everything, including myself, because I am a crazy person, and I am compelled to believe that it is somehow part of my secret heritage. Plus dudes in gowns are funny. |
