Re: Russian/Ukraine War Discussion Thread IV
I don’t view as Ukraine as sovereign either as we have (western funded and trained) Azov on video denying orders and laughing in the face of Zelensky, yet you guys are still crying about Russia invading Ukraine. So by that logic figured you guys would be crying for Transnitria as well should Ukraine invade |

Re: Russian/Ukraine War Discussion Thread IV
You make no sense...How do you not view Ukraine as sovereign? They have been a sovereign nation recognized by the world since 1991 and then hundreds of years before 1920. You are being quite hypocritical and contradictory.

Re: Russian/Ukraine War Discussion Thread IV
- A president gets elected promising to end a conflict - He goes to western backed, trained and armed militia in his country to demand disarmament - this western backed, trained and armed militia does not follow the orders of their democratically chosen president - the president gets threatened by the militias that they will instigate another coup if the president ever negotiates peace with the separatists Does this sound like a sovereign country to you? This was not meant condescending; but people saying; this or that country is not sovereign because there is an army that is not following orders of the elected leaders. Yet at the same time those supposed rules for sovereignty do not apply to a country like Ukraine. Btw Boneface shared and discussed those videos with me btw. I wish he was here with us on this forum. |

Re: Russian/Ukraine War Discussion Thread IV
What you are saying is that because the Azov Battalion is backed by Western Governments that Ukraine is not sovereign because Azov dictated that there will be no peace with Russia or backed separatists. What I am saying is that anyone that believes that because the west provides support for Azov means Ukraine isn't sovereign smoking the good stuff. That is between them. If I was Azov I wouldn't want peace either until I was able to reclaim my homeland from Russian invaders and backed separatists. You are only choosing to look at one half of the coin. By your logic, Russia is equally guilty if not more guilty for starting all this bullshit.

Re: Russian/Ukraine War Discussion Thread IV
If azov is ignoring zelensky, then its the problem for zelensky...not Russia. Not everyone in the military follows orders. Unlike Russian Wagner, Ukraine cant simply execute disobedient soldiers with a hammer. Its zelensky's job to mobilize an army and enfoce Ukrainian rule over azov, find common ground through diplomacy or find some other solution. Also, being backed/funded by a country doesnt mean that the country isnt sovering. Russia receives funds and backing from Iran/China...so, by your logic, Russia is ruled by China and Iran? Its the desicion of a sovering country to choose whose financing to accept and whose deny. |

Re: Russian/Ukraine War Discussion Thread IV
Forget Ukraine; IMO A country supposedly led by armed militias is not led by the president but by the people in control of said militias. I can post western links for my above points in the earlier post but it would achieve nothing. But you can find it by having google limit its results to 1-1-2021; also if you want to see what BBC and CNN have to say about the nazi problem in ukraine |

Re: Russian/Ukraine War Discussion Thread IV
Everyone is so focused on the Nazi aspect...not any more Nazi than any other country. Russia is probably more Nazi at this point than Hitler was. The only difference between Nazi Germany is that Hitler executed people in camps and Russia just has them thrown out the window.
