Well the Russians don’t want a nuclear war yet. As they were aware Bugden was visiting and didn’t wipe him off the face of the earth. Not confident enough yet to stop the person responsible for arranging all of the weapons going into Ukraine.

Two reasons maybe.

One. Confident enough to know they’ll take the lane within a few months.

Two. Know they’ll lose if it really comes down to it.

According to Russia they are the reason he was even able to go to Ukraine... they gave him "security guarantees".

How to advertise you're not even reading what you're saying you are. The current "armchair analysts" even on Twitter are are mostly giving a grim forecasts for Bakhmut. Including one who is literally a former Navy Seal squadron commander.

So for you to believe in your own narrative, you have to pretend russia is not defending the territories it is supposedly losing, yet at the same time you have to pretend they are gaining territories because otherwise ukraine would not be defending

Btw this is usually the point where you are going to repeat how Russia lost and how ukraine won and how ukraine did not get taken in 3 days

I called the losing of Bakhmut because of the ISW reports saying it was holding strong (= knowing they were full of shit), I didn’t look at any data other than ‘people in the know’ claiming it was not lost

We will see what’s up in about 1 week
