Re: Russian/Ukraine War Discussion Thread III
Don't worry, I don't trust any mainstream source, because they are for profit organisations, and when profit is involved, people tend to put in some subjective things. Also, as I said, casaulties are losses, not KIA. WIA, MIA are casaulties as well, but not deaths. I am not even going to try and guess the real numbers, because none of us have a access to them. Can you link something where the BBC paints them as melanin enriched individuals like you wrote? I surely missed it. Maybe before Maidan to rile up tension (as big powers tend to do), I don't know. And as we all know, I am not a westerner, so do not attach me to "all of you", mmkay? I am not hating you for quoting, just pointing out how all sources become credible when they offer information that pleases someone. |

Re: Russian/Ukraine War Discussion Thread III
Standing up to Russia and fighting Russia are two different things. I can stand up to a bully without punching him, you know!? Nuclear war if Russia has the capability to launch the nukes. I am not sure on how well maintained their nuke arsenal is, but I would guess it isn't in tip-top shape and as we all know, they fizzle out with time, so you have to invest huge resources to maintain the arsenal. Resources that probably went towards yachts and villas in Europe or States. If Native North American tribes would openly say for the colonisers to gtfo, I would support it, what is the issue? It wouldn't happen, as might makes right, but I would support them. Any folk that has lived somewhere for ages, have their own culture, language and traditions are in full rights to demand their own land to call their nation. Well, Chechnya wanted to be free, how did that go? The lackeys and the weak/ afraid/ powerless remained as the ones ready to fight just died essentially. Tuva is an occupied country. Well, if you have your own country, Kremlin can not draft you. Can not imprison you because of their laws, even if local population disagrees with the law. There are plenty of reasons why it is not that great. Ever asked yourself a question why almost nobody from Ex-soviet block wants back under Kremlin rule? Kremlin is cancer, it must be cured with fire, that is the only way. Not the people. Just the evil at the top of the pyramid. People are sheep, they are ignorant and their sins can be forgiven..the elite, not so much. Again with the alternative history and fucking up chronology of things? Before Moscow was a thing, Kiev was developed city. Russia didn't exist for centuries. Novgorodians maybe ruled, but Russians didn't, as they simply didn't exist de jure. If you want to dig so far in history, Russia should he a small state. If might makes right, well, I hope Russian invaders get their teeth kicked in and Kremlin burns to the ground. |

Re: Russian/Ukraine War Discussion Thread III
Right about what? That I am from Baltics? So you must know that I have both been to Russia, worked with Russians, met with Russians, some.of.my friends are Russians. What you might not know is how Russia has been painting us as Nazis because of few language laws. Like, you can still learn, talk, write, read, translate in Russian, nobody banned that. Just the people decided we no longer want to pay (taxes) for Russians to be able to have curriculum in Russian, which is not an official language here. Russians call thousands of years old simbols from Indo-europeans Nazi symbols. 7 centuries old symbols on rings as Nazi rings. Like mentally handicapped people, they have no actual clue what they are blabbering about, just go with the lead of their state controlled media. They wanted freedom and got slaughtered for it, that is what is wrong..communism, the big red plague and scourge that it is, made sure to fuck up both nature and peoples. Force migrations, Russifications, repressions, I could go on, but we all know that the only good commie is a dead commie feeding worms. it is inherently evil and people celebrating/ supporting it gave the brain power of a potatoe or are evil themselves. |

Re: Russian/Ukraine War Discussion Thread III
I dont label every citizen of USA as warmonger. Just sad examples like a lot of ppl in this thread and many people in leadership. People who believe that russians are trying to revive soviet era. This is crazy and its results of daily brainwashing from your corrupt media. Thats why many of you act as warmongers and view this war as "global security" or fight for "democracy" seriously, you people are nuts and always will be in my eyes. No self reflection, no sense. Just repeating your own narrative points without any understanding of long-term war, logistics, geopolitic influence etc. |

Re: Russian/Ukraine War Discussion Thread III
This sums up reality of how many naive USA citizens cares about donbas or luhansk people. They simply dont. Its just tragic comedy at this point. You like current nazi regime only because it act as puppet of USAs interest to fight russia. But people in dohansk or luhansk are nothing for you, otherwise you would actually listen to their desire for own suverenity, or decision to be part of russia. But you do otherwise, encourage current leadership to fight war that cant be won. Making more casaulties. But what we can ask from people who are daily brainwashed by their own media ? From people who still believe that USA proxy wars around the world are for global security. It was never about ukraine for you. A lot of people from USA cant even pin-point ukraine in the map. Sad reality, but true. |

Re: Russian/Ukraine War Discussion Thread III
If you didn't pay attention the thread/ forum for the past day, FYI, I am not American. I don't think Ukrainian government is Nazi. A Jew leading a Nazi government? Mkay. What makes them Nazi. Define it please, because I fail to see what of their actions, as a government, is making them Nazi. Like, name an actual law or decree, or something, apart from individuals doing their things. Russians have huge numbers of white supremacists who are anti-Semites, is Russia Nazi? They have ultranationalists, does it make Kremlin Nazi? What makes a Nazi? |

Re: Russian/Ukraine War Discussion Thread III
Maybe open eyes once ? 1. They openly use nazi symbolism and many of the batalions are far-right extremists that use violence on weekly basis, focused on catching anyone who have any sign of russian nationalism. There are many documents, even french ones that documented this and were banned by west propaganda. 2. They openly worship bandera, view him as national hero, Bandera was part of historical genodice, killing polands, slovakian people etc. and he coworked with nazi regime. 3. They openly support ethnic chauvinism and hate against russian people in donbas or luhansk, not mentioning other regions 4. They banned oposite media, parties, newspapers, made ban on language, movies etc. 5. They refused to investigate crimes made during 2014-2022 and also pre-crimes on people of regions mentioned above. To this day many criminals and far-right extremists are hiding in ukraine and are called as "heroes" by corrupt western media. Basically people who live in their bubble world of own propaganda. |

Re: Russian/Ukraine War Discussion Thread III
- seriously? 2. You, neither do I don’t know in which state nuclear arsenal is. You are so sure that it’s fucked that I’m afraid with people like you in charge EU would like to play “truth or dare” with Russia. I always like to follow the rule “ do not underestimate your enemy” 3. The issue here is yours or mine opinion. It’s worthless when it comedown to questions like that. How did Catalonia worked out for ya? You know that Texas has been thinking about independence for sometime? Tribes can say that and Texas too, but something tells me US government will not tolerate shit like that. Even if they, me and even you will stand with the peoples choice. People and government not always think alike and wishes the same. 3. Chechnya didn’t work out. It’s was a criminal state and you know it. Why you didn’t give me a different example? For instance on how regions after collapse of USSR decided to stay with Russia? Did you know that Moscow even allowed Tatarstan to have their own constitution and president ? Or whenever it’s actually looking good on Russian behalf it’s boring you? Be fair and judge properly. 4. Former USSR countries got their independence. Little Tsars and big families took power. Do you really think they want to give that all away? Do you really think for them to be a part of Russia is more important than endless power they have there for the generations? I assure you even if US was bordering with those countries they wouldn’t join US either. Just like Mexico for example … 5. I only went that far down in history because you said about who was living there and bla bla bla. Fact is - total disrespect to the people of Donbas from Maidan government and total careless acts from western ( SO FUCKING PRO LIFE AND PRO TRUTH) countries. hypocrisy at its best. Something west had been know for ages. ( and don’t give me this shit about how I hate west and people and live here… I only talking about western foreign policies, their dirty games and absolit arrogance to a human life when it dosnt for their narratives on international arena.) One thing I can agree with - I hope Putin and his surroundings will answer for what happened. I was pro Donbas and I’m from Krimea, but I didn’t ask for this war. |

Re: Russian/Ukraine War Discussion Thread III
Again, define your "nazism". Who are "They". Where are they, how many of them are there. How much power do they have. What exactly have they done and why? Dont give random vague claims...give something specific. 1) symbolism means nothing if you dont know why the people use those specific symbols and what do they want. Many symbols have history outside of WW2...other symbols have morphed and changed over time. What exactly are the symbols and what do the people flying those symbols want? "extremists that use violence on weekly basis" Yes, they are "battalions" of soldiers. Soldiers use violence on a daily basis. Thats what makes it a war. "focused on catching anyone who have any sign of russian nationalism" Yes, its called fighting against the fifth column, and its a standard practice in all wars. You have to do it, or you will suffer heavy losses due to back stabbing. There were many russian "civilians" captured in early stages of the war who were spotting targets for the Russian artillery. 2) "They openly worship bandera, view him as national hero" And? How many ukrainians like bandera...to what degree and for what reasons? Do they like bandera because he fought against Russians and for Ukraine, or do they like bandera because of his links to war crimes? Which part of bandera do Ukrainians like? I could make the same argument for Russians. Look how many Russians support facism, genocide and mass murder. Look how they worship one of the worst dictators in recent history? Look how many Stalin and Lenin statues are there. Look where their bodies are buried. See, Russians displaying statues of Stalin and buring him like a respected leader shows that Russians love genocide...right? No. There is another side to this story. For some, Stalin was a ruthless murderer, an invader...occupier....and for others, he was a great "liberator" who fought against the nazis. Do Russians honor Stalin because of all the genocide/persecution he committed...or do they honor him for the "defence of the motherland"? Bandera is a controversial figure and there are 2 sides to his story as well. So...before you scream "bandera bandera" a hundred times, ask yourself....whats the deal with him. Why do Ukrainians like him and which aspects of bandera do they like. 3) "...and hate against russian people in donbas or luhansk" Who...when..where...how? This generic sentence means nothing. 4) "..They banned oposite media, parties, newspapers, made ban on language, movies etc" Who banned....what languages/movies were banned...where and who enforced those bans. Banning propaganda networks is OK. Same was done in many other countries bordering Russia( and its fair, since Russia has no free media at all ) 5. They refused to investigate crimes made during 2014-2022 and also pre-crimes on people of regions mentioned above. Again, who is "They". Who presented what evidence...and who covered up that evidence. Was it even possible to investigate the crimes in an active war zone? |
