This is where you need to be careful about "whataboutism". The US is not on the ground in Ukraine fighting in THIS war. Russia is.

And Russia's wish for the Soviet Era ideologies, or dictatorship, or whatever it is they or you want to call it is not what Ukraine wants. Simple as that.

You cannot speak for an entire group of peoples in a whole country. Just because you don't want to support Ukraine as a representative of your country, doesn't mean the rest of the population feel the same. But one of the common [delusional or misguided] strategies/tactics of by people like you and others who believe the Russians are in the right, is grouping a entire population of any given nation together as one voice. Russia does it with Ukraine and the collective west. It's what you've been doing in here for days. That is not how it works and I think you know that.

I'm sure there are plenty that do not wish to support the war anymore... there are plenty in the US that do not want to anymore. But a majority of the people in those countries do, or as a member country of an organization such as NATO, they are inclined to do so not just for Ukraine's best interests, but for their own security interests, which is what I mean by "global security". It only takes common sense to realize if Russia gets what it wants in Ukraine... Slovakia, Moldova, Estonia, Lithuania, et al... are all vulnerable to Russia invading them next. Getting rid of your language, your culture and any person who does not want to become Russian.

So while you and likely others in Slovakia do not want to support Ukraine... there are more that do. And your country is a NATO country so if NATO as a whole is supporting them... so will Slovakia as a country. The countries that do not wish to support Ukraine, are not supporting them.

If you feel so strongly that Slovakia should not be supporting Ukraine, perhaps you need to concentrate your efforts more inward to make change there first, rather than here in half truths and misguided retorts, to people who have their feet planted on firmly the ground.

Following a meeting with Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba, Káčer stressed that Slovakia will continue to support Ukraine in its defense against the Russian invasion.

“Yesterday our government approved a new defense aid package,” said Káčer.

“It includes ammunition – including large (artillery) calibers and for jet fighter (armaments), warm clothes, and other equipment.”

The minister added that Slovakia will also continue to provide humanitarian aid to Ukraine.

Dmytro Kuleba recalled that Slovakia was the first country to donate its air defense systems to Kyiv, and thanked the government for their plans to send about 300 generators to Ukraine, as the country’s power grid is reeling from repeated Russian attacks.

I am not talking about ukraine as whole, but about their corrupt regime, leadership and delusional batalions who think they fight for democracy. Most people are like hostages in their own country.

People in donbass or luhansk really dont want to be part of Ukraine. Most of them are against it. They want war to end.
