Re: Russia/Ukraine War Mobilization, Protests & Sabotage Media III

Supposedly big explosion of arsenal depot happened in Bolgaria. According to OP this company was supplying UA with munitions from this depots.
Bulgaria beefed up security at its ammunition and weapons factories Monday, following a weekend fire at an arms depot that its owner said was suspicious.

About 70,000 people currently work in the country's defense industry, which specializes in ammunition for Soviet-era weapons and has seen its exports triple since Russia invaded Ukraine.

A fire broke out at a privately-owned ammunition depot near the southeastern town of Karnobat early Sunday, causing several explosions, but no casualties.

"There are additional levels of security that have been implemented for each of the defense industry sites, both state-owned and private," Economy and Industry Minister Bogdan Bogdanov told journalists on Monday.

"It's a key industry for Bulgaria," he said after visiting the largest state-owned VMZ Sopot factory in central Bulgaria.

The incident comes as NATO member Bulgaria is preparing to approve sending military aid directly to Ukraine, reversing its former policy of delivering arms to Kyiv via third countries.

The destroyed depot belongs to arms dealer Emilian Gebrev, whose company Emco was a target of similar incidents in the 2010s as well as in July 2022.

In a television interview Gebrev ruled out negligence as a possible cause of the fire, instead suspecting sabotage or trespassing.

Prime Minister Nikolay Denkov on Monday voiced concerns over the "explosions that were occurring periodically, especially over the past ten years".

"There was information that foreign intelligence services might have been involved," he said, urging prosecutors to present the results of previous investigations.

Bulgaria's prosecution announced in 2021 that it had established links between six Russian nationals in Bulgaria and four explosions at its arms depots between 2011 and 2020 allegedly aimed at preventing deliveries to Ukraine and Georgia.

In April 2015 Gebrev, his son and an executive from his company were victims of a poisoning attempt.

Three Russians were charged in 2020 in Bulgaria in absentia in connection with the attempted poisoning of Gebrev, one of them a Russian intelligence officer.

That’s a pretty interesting situation. My trade is international small-arms dealing, so it is a topic I’m intimately familiar with. I’m aware of three small arms ammunition plants of significance, actively making COMBLOC x39 (5.45 and 7.62) size cartridges, in the former USSR-slave states that are now free “western” nations.

One is in Luhansk, Ukraine, and we know who is in control of that one right now.

One is in Karnobat, Bulgaria, and it is on fire right now.

The third is in Sirok, Hungary. It was formerly a property of Swiss state-owner RUAG, and is now owned and operated by Beretta of Italy. Hungary is an EU and NATO member, but is clearly the coldest of those member states in its support of Ukraine against the Orc invasion.

While Hungary is somewhat cold to support of Ukraine, I think I’d still have 3rd-shift fire watch in Sirok, if I was them.

Re: Russia/Ukraine War Mobilization, Protests & Sabotage Media III

"Crimea is Ukraine! The protest to the Russians is growing

Today is the day of the Crimean Tatar flag, a true symbol of Ukrainian resistance in Crimea. On this day, we want to show how the Yellow Ribbon Movement works in the temporarily occupied Autonomous Republic of Crimea.

Simferopol, Sevastopol, Feodosia, Kerch, Alushta, Yalta, Belogorsk, Petrovka. Activists work in all these cities, despite the counterintelligence regime and numerous Russian patrols. The movement is not afraid because they are convinced that freedom is worth fighting for.

Over the past week, more than 120 Crimeans have joined the movement, and they have managed to hang more than 400 yellow ribbons and 150 posters, and there is graffiti in Feodosia and Simferopol. They are getting stronger every day and are waiting for the Armed Forces of Ukraine!"

Re: Russia/Ukraine War Mobilization, Protests & Sabotage Media III

"Terrorist Girkin-Strelkov suggested that Putin resign:

"If the current president is not ready to take charge of the process of putting the country on a military footing, if he is not ready for the powers of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief, then he simply needs to hand them over to someone capable of such hard work," Strelkov said."

Re: Russia/Ukraine War Mobilization, Protests & Sabotage Media III

Maybe, but, unless there was some 4D chess being played by an allied Prigozhin and Lukaschenko, then the deal that was effected essentially proved that Putin had the leverage.

Prigozhin was a hero in Russia and commanded an army that put him somewhere in the high-single/low-double digits of global military rankings. He had to give up that army and leave Russia. Even an unimaginable pile of money, or something else that could be transferred off the global media’s radar, isn’t worth a damn when you were forced to disarm yourself and put yourself in the fiefdom of one of Putin’s greatest cronies.

Prigozhin would end up a very rich, very dead man.

I suspect he miscalculated, and had expected some key support from within the oligarchy, and was counting on it developing in the time it took him to get from Rostov to Moscow. Only, that support never materialized or went the other way. Prigozhin got a few phone calls that didn’t go the way he expected, and bailed.

No doubt that this whole thing made Putin look weak, but it made Prigozhin look even weaker.
Everything's for sale, so long as the price is right.

Re: Russia/Ukraine War Mobilization, Protests & Sabotage Media III

NABU detained the head of the Ternopil Regional Council Mikhail Golovko. Local media write about it.

The case of the looting of humanitarian aid.

Keep in mind that NABU answers only to US department of state. Meaning that’s it’s harder to reason with them when you are getting caught doing bad things

Re: Russia/Ukraine War Mobilization, Protests & Sabotage Media III

Don’t know if this is real or fake, but it was allowed to be aired on US state television. Does anybody have the entire episode?
Clip is taken from this document of Vice News.

"In the Kirovsk district of the temporarily occupied Crimea, patriots damaged the railway track, disrupting the logistics of the occupiers.

According to the Telegram channel "Krym.Realii" , the occupying head of Crimea, the traitor Serhiy Aksyonov said that no one was injured as a result of the explosion.

According to the Telegram channel "Baza" , as a result of an explosion on the "Petrovo-Vladislavivka" line, the first car of a freight train derailed. There are no casualties.

As the Crimean Wind Telegram channel reported , two suburban trains and two long-distance trains "Moscow-Simferopol" and "Yevpatoria-St. Petersburg" have been delayed so far.
