That said, there have been observations that Russia had begun sourcing ammunition from Belarussian stocks in July, and now more recently claims they are purchasing from N Korea. Regardless, I don't think anyone's plan for Ukrainian victory ever involved Russia running low on low tech ammunitions they, in theory, have been stockpiling for decades.

You basically have to say 'in theory' regarding everything about the Russian military these days since they have chronically underperformed compared to pre-war expectations in every degree imaginable.

So now they are telling you this war could take years?.

Any sane Russian leader would have called it quits a long time ago; if it takes years and a million+ Russian casualties for Russia to realize its fascist dream is over then that is what it takes. That said, I can't imagine how the Russian army survives given its constant downhill spiral and the ever growing strength of the UAF.

Most of my family lives in the EU pal. Your huffing paint chips again if you think that is what energy costs are. Try closer to like 2000 for heating, gas, electricity, and internet a year. Utilities are about 6.5% of the total budget of someone with a 30k Euro salary in large parts of the EU. And the prices rises are temporary, other energy sources like renewables and new terminals for imports are being ramped up. Small small price to pay for crushing Russian fascism forever. Rather sublime investment in the future really.

Yes you are, but Russia has thus far refused to acknowledge this officially or call off its fascist invasion. So the weapons will continue. And even in the event of peace they will continue to ensure there is no 2nd attempt ala 2nd Chechen war 10 years or so down the line.
