Re: Russia/Ukraine War Discussion/thoughts Thread

Except it wasn't, an indepdent Chechnya existed for over 8 years because Russia lost the 1st Chechen war.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cheche...ic_of_Ichkeria

Not even a smart Russian lie. 2008 war was entirely planned and orchestrated by Russia. Russia moved forces that did an exercise that was a dress rehearsal of the invasion weeks before the conflict started, then kept the troops nearby in position until the order was given. Almost exactly like with Ukraine.

Also, Russians were not part of the UN mission to Georgia. And Russia in fact opposed the UN presence.

Russia created the anti maiden movement with intelligence services, armed it, and obviously did enter Ukraine since it was Russian soldiers that not only appeared all over Crimea as 'little green men' but also entered the Donbass in the Fall of 2014 in order to save their collapsing proxy pets. And were present at battles such as Ilovaisk among others.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_Ilovaisk

The bandit was chased out for trying to make himself a corrupt Ukrainian version of Putin and Lukashenko and Russia fomented a war to response against the Ukrainian people. This entire war in reality is about Russia and Putin being unable to accept an independent free Ukraine and Russia's inability to think outside of 1800s imperial or Nazi terms. A genocidal backwards evil empire as always. It is almost as if some things never change except you'd think you would be bored of it by now if nothing else.
I was talking about 1st Chechen war, that's why I mentioned that it was earlier then you said.

Before 2nd Chechen war Ichkeria had her independence yes but it was recognized by one or two countries. One of those recognitions was rejected by Chechens because it came from Talibans. Now imagine having region like Ichkeria Vol 1999 next to US borders. How many people died (including representatives from a Red Cross), how many went missing, weapons sold on the streets, gangs, drugs, human trafficking etc etc. It was a Mexico on double steroids.

Now there are rumors that Chechen invasion of Dagestan and bombings in Russia are all connected to FSB and such. But that something you choose to believe or not.

UN approval, here I was wrong, my bad. But the fact is more then a dozen Russian peacekeepers died during the invasion. Now Georgians assembled an army, Russia kept its forces near by too I think it makes perfect sense. And just in general Georgians started this war, so I disagree with you here.

About puppets and who crossed the border and if there were reasons to do it or not at all ill just skip. We will not agree anyway. This past week especially I spent way too much time explaining my point of view inhere.

Re: Russia/Ukraine War Discussion/thoughts Thread

On RT, Novosti or FootwrapTV no doubt.
On the streets of Europe.

Once the general public realises that the Ukraine signing of continued nuclear non proliferation and no nato membership would make surviving the winter affordable again, not to mention gas, PS5 and iPhone 14 pro having ‘normal’ prices again. And the euro regaining its value over the dollar…
What would you expect will happen?

Of course the US will do anything in its power to make sure no peace treaties get signed. They need this for their economy. Without it, you would have worse conditions making civil war even easier.

A bunch of people posting here think it’s all funny memes and Ukrainian electronic music with them ‘pwning’ the Russians, but our own countries relative peace might just be on borrowed time

What are you implying? That people in the West somewhere are protesting? So just 100% normal stuff that really has almost nothing to do with Ukraine?

Western support for Ukraine is not going to end for a huge number of reasons. It will remain overwhelmingly politically popular. It suits the agenda of anyone anti-Putin or anti-climate or anti-autocracy invading democracies which is pretty much everyone in the West. Indeed it is seen as an existential issue and ceasing support would be giving the green light to other autocracies like China to invade Taiwan. The support cannot and will not end. Not to mention it suits the military industrial complex.

And contrary to what your professional delusionists are telling you; at this rate the Russians aren't going to last very long in Ukraine anyway. Are present enough on planet Earth to realize your army has been obviously failing for months and now in the process of its greatest grand collapse since its aborted month long drive on Kyiv?

There is no reality in which anyone can realistically even trick themselves into believing Russia has any realistic hope of victory anymore after the past week. It is just a question of when exactly Russia is sent back to the pre Feb 24th borders and if Ukraine will then go from Crimea and the occupied Donbass.

Btw, I was a very big Trump supporter. But being a 1000% Ukraine supporter is now a requirement for being elected in the US. People around the country drive around with Ukrainian flags and decals on their cars here now. Anyone who isn't has no business getting near a political office.

I think this nonsense is how faust deals with disappointment. It's very strange - but also I guess kind of human.

Russia supporters seem to completely omit the fact that a very large portion of the developed world is actively supporting Ukraine and giving them an insane amount of lethal aid and are clearly committed to this long term. This is catastrophic for the Russian military and their war effort and the proof is on the battlefield.

My biggest question is what's going to happen to Russia after they leave in shame. Literally Vietnam level total deaths and it's what, less than 200 days into the war? Absolutely insane. How they're still even there blows my mind. But then again, dictatorships lock down information very tightly. But Russians definitely know now that something is very, very wrong.

Also Putin is done, the question is how and when will that pass.

Your own ‘professional delusionists’ were telling you that Russia only had bullets and artillery for a few weeks. by the 9th of May they should be done because they could never last until June.
So now they are telling you this war could take years?..

”It will remain overwhelmingly politically popular.”
More popular than not having a 4000 euro heating bill on a 3000 euro salary?

“ It is just a question of when exactly Russia is sent back to the pre Feb 24th borders and if Ukraine will then go from Crimea and the occupied Donbass”
“ the occupied Donbass” Occupied by whom, by its very own citizens?

Most of you seem to have a less than even basic understanding of any situation over there. You are not watching this:

They can't take the truth, Faust. Or simply ignoring it because it messes up their ego.
