Re: ISRAEL/PALESTINE/IRAN/LEBANON Conflict Discussion Thread VII (2025)

"That lady knew what would happen when she tried to get away from her husband. She knew he'd pay her back 10 fold."

Really? The only issue is Israel isn't just killing hamas. Thousands of dead 10 year old and unders aren't their enemey.
Okay, correct me if I'm wrong but you do seem to be biased towards Palestinians. I've never seen you express sympathy for the Israeli dead. I think it's fucking horrific what has happened to both Israelis and Palestinians. No kids, no civilians should be dying anywhere, full stop.

It almost never happens now but when I was younger Hamas regularly attacked Israelis inside their country. Bus bombings, suicide bombers, kidnappings all happened with alarming frequency. The violence from both sides has to stop but both religions claim some ridiculous God given right to live where they do and also the ludicrous idea that they are superior to followers of other religions, so I don't see this ending any time soon.

What would be a good idea though is if UN troops occupied Gaza to prevent Hamas operating and also to protect innocent people who live there. Similar to how they put boots on the ground in the Balkans in the 90s which allowed Kosovo to come into existence as a state. It is a Muslim country but secular as opposed to theocratic. It does not produce terrorists or hate preachers, but instead is a shining example of how a secular state should be and that is the best future for Palestine, but Hamas must go. They are not like Yasser Arafat's PLO, Hamas has a different agenda and they are cunts.

Re: ISRAEL/PALESTINE/IRAN/LEBANON Conflict Discussion Thread VII (2025)

UN has people in Gaza already. Thry are being injured and killed by Israel already. I do sympathize with innocent Israelis killed, at the same time I've seen so many videos of settlers and Israeli citizens just boasting about how it's okay to kill babies. Israel has essentially tought their people Palestinians are not humans.

Israel would never be okay with un forces policing Gaza, and would still attack gazans regardless.

Yesterday 19.03.2025 Israel killed Bulgarian UN member who was in charge of distribution of the humanitarian aid. Israeli military forces stroke UN building at Gaza, killing the Bulgarian and heavily wounding six other UN members.
Being Bulgarian myself I would like some explanation or excuse, but I highly doubt it will come up.
They killed so many children out there, so few UN members doesn't matter...

Bulgaria’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Georg Georgiev had a phone conversation with his Israeli counterpart Gideon Sa'ar.

Israel’s Foreign Minister Gideon Sa'ar expressed condolences to the family of the Bulgarian who died in Gaza.

Gideon Sa'ar explained that according to the Israeli army, the tragic incident in Gaza, in which two UN staff members were killed, was not related to their actions.

However, the investigation into the case continues until the causes of the incident are fully clarified.

The Israeli army denies hitting the UN compound in Deir al-Balah, stating that it struck a Hamas target in northern Gaza, where preparations for launching missiles at Israel were detected.

The two victims were employees of the United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS) and the United Nations Mine Action Service (UNMAS).

Re: ISRAEL/PALESTINE/IRAN/LEBANON Conflict Discussion Thread VII (2025)

Seems all of Gaza is flooded with UN employees. Not typical for a war zone.

Re: ISRAEL/PALESTINE/IRAN/LEBANON Conflict Discussion Thread VII (2025)

It's up to five now by the way.

Five UN staff members have also been killed, according to the head of the UNRWA.

It comes as Israeli attacks in Gaza have resumed this week - bringing an end to the ceasefire that had paused fighting in the 17-month war.

Philippe Lazzarini, head of UNRWA, the United Nations Palestinian relief agency, said on Thursday: "In the past few days, another five UNRWA staff have been confirmed killed, bringing the death toll to 284.

"They were teachers, doctors and nurses: serving the most vulnerable."

He added he feared "the worst is yet to come".

"Under our daily watch, people in Gaza are again and again going through their worst nightmare," he said in a statement.

"An endless unleashing of the most inhumane ordeals."

Tzipi Hotovely, Israel's ambassador to the UK, has told Sky News the ceasefire was first broken by Hamas because they "stopped releasing our hostages".

Her comments came despite Hamas having released all the hostages that were agreed under phase one of the ceasefire - with phase two having not begun yet.

However, Ms Hotovely said Israel had agreed to extend phase one of the ceasefire on one condition - that Hamas keeps releasing hostages.

Speaking to Sky News presenter Sophy Ridge, the ambassador continued: "We waited three weeks with no hostages being released.

"Do you expect Israel to sit and do nothing when 59 people from our people are dying there in the tunnels?

"Do you expect Israel to do nothing?"

Ms Hotovely added that Hamas can stop the war immediately by releasing all of the 59 remaining hostages.
It's insane that Israel can openly kill anyone thry want.

Re: ISRAEL/PALESTINE/IRAN/LEBANON Conflict Discussion Thread VII (2025)

Expel the UN from the US. They can use their people in Gaza to build a new HQ there. Just kidding about the Gaza HQ, I would not wish that upon Israel.

Expel the UN from the US. Do it now!

Re: ISRAEL/PALESTINE/IRAN/LEBANON Conflict Discussion Thread VII (2025)

On Wednesday, United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres condemned attacks on the organization’s personnel after a United Nations Office for Project Services staff member died in an alleged strike on UN guesthouses.

Israel has denied carrying out an airstrike on the facility in Deir al-Balah, and photos from the scene show that those hurt were from the United Nations Mine Action Service, which deals with clearing leftover explosive devices.

Israel says Hamas and other Gazan terror groups use UN facilities to hide weapons, personnel or other infrastructure.

Do you remember UN staff within besieged Ukrainean cities? UN in Mariupol. UN in Bachmut? UN depots in Sudsha or Adijewka? UN running around during combat operations in any Gulf War?

It just seem to happen in Gaza. Its an open secret how close UN(RWA) is with the Gazans and how they share their infrastructure with Gazan terror operatives. Also for the recent case are new infos aviable... Its the same game over again. Gazan "health ministry" has been fully activated and now there are dead babies, killed UN humanitarian workers and fake stories everywhere. But obviously not a single terrorist^^

It has to be said that some of them were killed along with their families. Also some families which took part in holding hostages were liquidated.
