IDF recovered the remains of two dead hostages from Rafah, southern Gaza. They were hidden inside a tunnel. Intelligence about the site was obtained from Hamas prisoners.

Both were captured alive from Kibbutz Holit on Oct 7th. Its said they were murdered already in June '24. Over half a year ago. The remains were identified in a forensic institute. The burial took place 3 days ago, Jan 9th.

Its not signed. Hamas is stalling and tries to change some conditions. Israel halted everything.

Meanwhile, IDF still has plenty of work ahead with the long entrenched mil infrastructure in Judea and Samaria, Lebanon and Syria. All of these targets are ripe for IDF action because they do not have viable defenses at this time. Israel would be crazy not to keep cleansing the back yard.

Per two Arab media sources, Yemeni military sources announce that the US Navy conducted airstrikes in northwest Yemen in the past two days. Last night US significantly damaged the port at Hodeidah and the night before Amran received multiple airstrikes. Yemeni sources stated that last week, US and UK jets struck the Yemen capital city Sanaa.

IDF Arabic language statement to Gaza residents regarding ceasefire starting Sunday at 0830, the beginning of the ceasefire in the Strip.

"- Traffic from the south to the north of the Gaza Strip or towards the Netzarim Road remains dangerous in light of IDF activity in the area. Once this traffic is permitted, a statement and instructions will be issued regarding safe transportation methods. We warn residents against approaching IDF forces in general and in the Netzarim Axis area in particular.

- In the southern Gaza Strip, it is dangerous to approach the Rafah Crossing area, the Philadelphia Axis area and all areas of concentration of forces.

- In the maritime area along the Strip, there is a great danger to fishing, swimming and diving and we warn against entering the sea in the coming days.

- It is forbidden to approach Israeli territory and the buffer zone. Approaching the buffer zone is extremely dangerous."

The first condition of the ceasefire agreement was to hand over the names of 3 hostages which were supposed to be released later today. It should have happened 24 hours before.

It didn't happen. Even the scheduled begin of the ceasefire at 7:30am passed without any word about who will be released.



Yesterday, IDF already started to withdraw alot troops from Rafah, Beit Hanoun, Jabalia. This could have been a mistake... Lets see whether the ceasefire actually works. IDF already reported to again strike Hamas targets with artillery and drones.
