Re: ISRAEL/PALESTINE/IRAN/LEBANON Conflict Discussion Thread VII (2025)
Israel does not belong to the Muslim Arabs that call themselves Palestinians. The land of Israel has been fought over for thousands of years by various empires and various tribes of many creeds. It has changed hands many times. Whoever prevails in battle owns the land. That is a precedent that has spanned millennia for all nations, including yours. The current owner of the land of Israel is the Jewish nation of Israel. The Israelis have earned their ownership by winning multiple wars over the Muslim Arabs throughout the 20th and now 21st centuries. It is only the influence of the colonial West, which has now morphed into the antisemitic UN, that has prevented the Jews of Israel from owning all of the land that they won on the battlefield. What right do woke Westerners have to sit in their distant abodes and whine that the Israelis should forego the battlefield sacrifices their sons and daughters, and forego ownership of the lands of Israel to Arab Muslims, whose noteworthy "victories" are endless, cowardly knifings of soft targets in civilian settings, and the slaughtering of teenagers at a music festival? |

In Rome, an Egyptian man attacks a boy for wearing one of those Jewish beany hats. He was tracked down and arrested. I hope the Italians put that attacker on one of their lovely beaches and order him to swim back home. |

Re: ISRAEL/PALESTINE/IRAN/LEBANON Conflict Discussion Thread VII (2025)
Hostage releases this weekend: Civilian men: Ohad Ben Ami, Or Levy and Eli Sharabi Or Levy and his wife Eynav were at the Nova Festival as Hamas attacked on Oct 7th. They hid in this shelter. His wife Eynav was torn into pieces by a handgrenade. In front of his eyes. Their minor son was not with them and survived. Its the same roadside shelter where hostages like Hersh Goldberg-Polin and others were taken (some murdered in a Khan Yunis tunnel). Many others where killed by grenades as well as AK fire. Eli Sharabi was taken hostage in Kibbutz Be'eri. Hamas did not tell him that they murdered his whole family. His wife and his two daughters were burned to death as they refused to leave the safe room inside their family home. It took 3 weeks of archeological work to get sufficient forensic evidence to officially declare them dead. In one of the forced interviews he told into the camera of his captors that he's looking forward to unite with his loved ones. Even there they did not tell him. Hamas' media coverage of this release is quite extensive. You see how they were kept inside the tunnels. Mind that they improved the conditions the weeks before the release. They got more food than the months before. So it was even worse than you might imagine. Pics taken from Hamas footage, had to downscale vid quality to reduce its size (vid1). As you can see: Hamas secret "Shadow" unit. A Hamas subdivision which has been formed in 2016. The only purpose is to hold and to guard hostages. Medical assessment: All suffered massive starvation up to the last days, where conditions improved a bit. Lost 20-30kg body mass each. Several infections, weak heart muscles. Problems to walk, muscle atrophy. All were hold almost 500 day in tunnels. Completly cut off from the outside. Levy was also hold alone all the time. Without any other hostage with him. Vid1 Al Qassam propaganda vid showing the hostages inside Gazan dungeons and their release up to the point where they again had to take part in a joint Red Cross / Hamas propaganda event. Vid2 Red Cross hands the hostages over to IDF. Vid3 Hostages arrive at the IDF facility for first assessment. Vid4: Reunion with whats left of their families after the Oct 7th massacre. |

Re: ISRAEL/PALESTINE/IRAN/LEBANON Conflict Discussion Thread VII (2025)
Well, I'm disappointed by the israelis' decision to go back to a trickle for hostage releases instead of once and for all crushing their enemies, to see them driven before them, and to hear the lamentation of their women |

Re: ISRAEL/PALESTINE/IRAN/LEBANON Conflict Discussion Thread VII (2025)
Saw some arab guy on X talking about how much more humane their slaves were treated over the ones in the american-european slavemarket. Then another middle-eastern [slur removed] in my Xfeed tweeted unironically that Hamas should be given the Nobel Peace Prize for keeping the hostages alive as the evil zionists bombarded them. You can't make this stuff up, folks |

Re: ISRAEL/PALESTINE/IRAN/LEBANON Conflict Discussion Thread VII (2025)
Please refrain from using terms like 'monkey' to describe any human being on this site. While some individuals in any religion (or any other group) may act inappropriately, not everyone within that group behaves the same way. Categorizing everyone in a particular group the same way is lazy, harmful and disingenuous.

Re: ISRAEL/PALESTINE/IRAN/LEBANON Conflict Discussion Thread VII (2025)
Jerusalem, 16 February, 2025 (TPS-IL) -- During a joint appearance with visiting US Secretary of State Marco Rubio on Sunday, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu vowed that the “gates of hell will be opened” if Hamas does not release 73 hostages still being held in Gaza. |
