IDF announced his death months ago. Finally, after long denial, Hamas admitted Mohammed Deif's martyrdom. After countless assassination attempts, IDF finally managed to take him out for good. He was the leader of the Qassam Brigades, Hamas' military wing. His case at the Intl Crime Court in Den Haag can be finally canceled as well.

Next. IAF announced another targeted strike, which took out Hazem Hijazi Rajab. Operative in Hamas' Nuhba ('elite') force. You might recognize the background structure of this screencap. He was directely involved in the massacre of female IDF soldiers in Nahal Oz. It already happened last month, but the news wasn't cleared for release until the abducted IDF observers were safe home. Its already the fourth elimination of this kind (I'm aware of...). They should have used masks as they naded and shot these teens. The gopro footage is clear enough to identify every single one. They won't grow old.

Tearful reunions and all, but not worth losing all that prime Gaza land and security for a handful of hostages. I guess it is a calculated move to prevent the Defenders of Israel from losing power. Stay in power, and Israel can keep clearing the rats out of Judea and Samaria. But what a price.

It always ends like this, these cyclical wars seem to be eternal and getting worse over time.

Israel seems to be extremly vulnerable to hostage taking. While most other countries wouldn't care.

No other country would lose a war just to get some hostages back or cause enemy troops hide within civilian cities. Just look at Mossul or Mariopol. The Iraqi army did what had to be done. As well as the russians. Israel wasn't even able to do such a simple thing as a blockade. Instead they supplied the enemy with food, water, medical stuff....even fuel. Imagine Putin would have supplied Mariupol with fuel and everthing...the siege would still go on.

One has to ask where these Israeli commanders are, who defeated 3 arab armies simultaneously in 3 days.

My uncle was a captain in the (US) navy. I was facebook friends with a couple of his military friends. They, surprisingly to me, turned out to have strong anti Israeli sentiments. It is absolute madness how much of this is going on and it has obviously stayed Israel hand.
