It's well-documented, you refusal to believe such a simple detail is honestly quite bizarre. You haven't even provided any reasons to why you think the opposite. Why else do you think they remain so placid to their imminent demise? It also plays into their narrative - their entire justification for beheading (at least the westerners they capture) is retaliation and the hostage pleading and crying for their life doesn't really play into that, but if they are stonefaced with no emotion whatsoever? Guilty as fuck (again the narrative ISIS wants to convey to their sympathetic audience). But again believe whatever you want, no skin off my back. |

Are you daft? Drugging them would show at least an ounce of humanity. For their sake, you should hope they were drugged. More likely they've been through months or years of torture and don't want to prolong their suffering any longer.
