I doubt it, sadly; all that would happen is another group of psychopaths would come along and take the place of IS. I mean, its not like theres any shortage of fanatics who are willing to die for their "cause", whatever that is.  |

I think the only semblance of a solution is for Israel to acknowledge the two-state proposal? or, as Hassan Nasrallah wants, the Jews to get the fuck out of Israel, but obviously thats never going to happen.

The Islamic State are Sunni Muslim. They are resorting to the tactics you see above after three years of foiled revolt against Assad in Syria and over a decade of war and oppression in Iraq. Basically the Sunnis have been brutalised for a long time, so some have cracked and gone full-out genocidal. I bet the Iraqis wish they could have Saddam back now. What a complete gangfuck.
