It's not a grenade. That is a tracer round. It drops from the top of the screen because he seems to be firing from at least 3km away. You can hear when he fires and when the bullet actually can be seen and its about 4 seconds.

This man is an extremely good shot to hit a moving target this far. That or hes lucky as hell.
