Coast Guard Medevacs Woman from Cruise Ship Off Brunswick
A Coast Guard Air Station Savannah helicopter crew medevaced a 62-year-old woman from the cruise ship Mein Schiff on Nov. 1, 2023, about 75 miles offshore Brunswick, Georgia. The woman was suffering from symptoms of hypertension. The crew hoisted her from the ship and flew her to Jacksonville Executive at Craig Airport in Jacksonville, Florida, where emergency medical services personnel were standing by.
