Coast Guard Medevacs Crewmember 135 Miles Off Southwest Pass
A Coast Guard Air Station New Orleans MH-60 Jayhawk aircrew hoisted a crewmember from a research vessel on Oct. 12, 2023, about 135 miles southwest of Southwest Pass, Louisiana. The crewmember was transferred to awaiting emergency medical services personnel at University Medical Center in New Orleans.
