Scaffolding Collapse Kills Worker in Sao Paulo
On October 17, 2023, scaffolding collapsed at the top of a building in Sao Paulo, leaving eight construction workers suspended about 140 meters, or 32 stories, above the ground. The workers were held by their safety harnesses. Firefighters reported one fatality.
